Do I need to have prior experience to join?
No, prior experience is not required. We have programs designed for all skill levels. Beginners will be taught the fundamentals of the game, while more experienced players will receive advanced coaching to refine their skills. However you will be more likely to get accepted into our CCA if you do.
What equipment do I need to have?
The school provides the tables, nets, and balls. However, it is highly recommended that you purchase your own personal paddle to ensure a consistent playing experience. Our coaches can provide recommendations on suitable rackets for different skill levels.
How are players selected for the school team?
Players for the school team are selected based on their skill, and performance during training and internal trials. The selection process is overseen by our coaches and student leaders.
Are there opportunities for non-competitive players?
Yes. The CCA is for everyone who has an interest in table tennis. We believe in providing a platform for all members to enjoy, regardless of their position. We often organize friendly internal matches to foster a sense of community.
